The following changes to the 1998 edition of the SIO Diving Safety Manual have
been made to meet AAUS standards. If you would like to print a copy of these
changes to add to your existing manual please do so. The PDF version of the
2002 edition of the manual can be found here.
You can print the pages noted below to replace those in your existing manual
or you can print out the entire manual using Acrobat
Reader.
- Page 11 replaces page 11 in the original manual. (This explains the new
age interval's for diving physicals.)
- Page 14 is the physician's sign off sheet including physician's signature.
(This is the form that need's to be completed and returned to Lynn)
- Pages 47 thru 54 (Appendix D) cover NITROX Diving Guidelines.
- Pages 55 thru 57 (Appendix E) cover Aquarium Diving Operation's.
- Page 58 describes what AAUS diver's may be asked to demonstrate when performing
a checkout dive.
